Tournament Rules
********Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol*********
Referees decision is final
-All penalties will result in a penalty shot
-No fighting- fighting will result in immediate ejection from tournament
-5 on 5 format + goalie
-All must be on court for game to start
-Two 10 minute periods plus stop time
Late Rule:
-All registered team members must be on court for the game to start
-2 minute warmup allowed (late team members have until end of warm-up, before the clock starts running)
-If team is not prepared after warmup, clock will start running
-Every 2 minutes that the team does not have the required amount of players, a goal will be awarded to team with all members present, for a maximum of 10 minutes. At which point will result in a 5-0 victory for the team with all registered members present.

-Open Division max players 6 per team (includes goalie)

-Family division is open to all ages
-Maximum 8 players per team (5 on 5 format + goalie) 2 subs
-Up to 2 adults
-No slap-shots allowed (stick cannot go above waist)
* Only Women & children 16 and younger can score

Scoring:
All round robin wins are 2 points, ties 1 point, loss 0 points
Round robin tie breaker format, points, head to head, +/-, most first period goals, coin flip
Playoff format, top 4 teams will advance, 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3

-Individual awards will be given out to selected players for overall tournament play and will be decided by organizers. These awards will be given out after the Championship game, Sunday, December 29, 2013
*The MIKITA FOX Award- For Players Excellence will be handed out by a member of the Fox Family.
